1. What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store. Local storage is a similar mechanism that holds slightly more data and does not get sent to the server with every request. Both are read only by the site that set them.

• No cross-site tracking pixels.
• No social media tracking widgets.
• No fingerprinting or device identification.
• No data brokers, and no sale or sharing of any of this data.

We do not run behavioural advertising, so there is nothing here to opt out of for that purpose. See section 5 of our privacy policy.

4. Local storage — your cart

Your cart lives in your own browser, not on our servers, until you submit the checkout form. It holds product identifiers and quantities — no name, no address, no payment information. Clearing your browser data empties it. Using a different browser or device means starting a new cart, because the two have no way to talk to each other.

5. Analytics

We use privacy-focused analytics to count page views, referrers and broad device categories in aggregate. It does not build a profile of you, does not track you across other websites, and does not sell the data. We use it to find pages that are slow or broken.

6. How to control cookies

Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies and local storage:

• Chrome — Settings, Privacy and security, Third-party cookies and Site data.
• Safari — Settings, Privacy, Manage Website Data.
• Firefox — Settings, Privacy & Security, Cookies and Site Data.
• Edge — Settings, Cookies and site permissions.

Private or incognito browsing discards everything when you close the window.

7. What happens if you block them

Blocking analytics changes nothing about how the site works for you. Blocking local storage means your cart empties whenever you reload a page, which makes ordering awkward but not impossible. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop checkout working — those are the ones that keep your session together while you complete the form.

8. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Because we do not track users across websites and do not sell or share personal information, there is no behaviour for a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal to change. We honour these signals by design rather than by exception.

9. Changes

If we add or remove a cookie, this table is updated and the “last updated” date at the top of the page changes with it. Questions go to support@cordovatransport.shop.
