Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information Gleambay collects when you buy from us or contact us, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what rights you have over it. It applies to https://cordovatransport.shop and to any email or phone contact with our customer service team.
Last updated August 7, 2026/Governing law: State of Florida, USA
1. Who we are
Gleambay is the trading name of CORDOVA TRANSPORTATION SOLUTIONS LLC, a Florida Limited Liability Company with its principal place of business at 1303 SW Santa Barbara Place, Cape Coral, Florida 33991, United States. We are the business responsible for deciding how and why your personal information is used — in privacy law terms, the controller of that information.
We are a retailer of consumer car wash and detailing products. We do not provide transportation, towing, courier or logistics services of any kind.
2. Information we collect
We collect only what we need to sell you a product and support you afterwards. We do not build profiles, we do not run behavioural advertising, and we do not buy personal information from data brokers.
| Category | Specific items | Where it comes from |
|---|---|---|
| Identifiers | Name, email address, telephone number | You, at checkout or via a form |
| Commercial information | Products ordered, order value, order reference, order history | Generated when you place an order |
| Delivery information | Shipping address including state or province and ZIP or postal code, country, delivery notes | You, at checkout |
| Correspondence | Messages you send us, the subject you selected, and our replies | You, via a form or by email |
| Consent records | That you accepted this policy, confirmed you are an adult, and — where the order contains chemicals — acknowledged the safety notice, with the date and time | Recorded when you tick the boxes at checkout |
| Technical information | IP address, browser type, pages viewed, aggregated traffic counts | Automatically, when you use the site |
Payment card details. We never see, handle or store your card number, expiry date or security code. Card details are entered directly with the payment provider configured for this store and are never transmitted to or stored on our servers.
Sensitive personal information. We do not collect Social Security numbers, driver’s licence numbers, financial account numbers, precise geolocation, racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, health information, biometric data, or information about sexual orientation. We have no business reason to collect any of it.
3. Why we use it
- To take, process, ship and — where necessary — refund your order, and to send you the confirmation, payment link and tracking that go with it.
- To answer questions you send us, including product safety questions and returns requests.
- To keep a record that you consented to this policy and, where an order contains chemicals, that you acknowledged the safety notice. This record protects both of us.
- To send free restock reminder emails, but only if you specifically ask for them at checkout. These are free, they are not a subscription, and every one contains a one-click unsubscribe link.
- To meet our legal obligations, including tax and accounting record keeping.
- To understand aggregate site traffic so we can fix what is broken. We use privacy-focused analytics that do not track you across other websites.
We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
4. Who we share it with
We share the minimum necessary with a small number of service providers who act on our instructions and are contractually barred from using your information for their own purposes:
- Shipping carriers — your name, delivery address and phone number, so a parcel can be delivered.
- The payment provider configured for this store — the order amount, currency and order reference, so a payment can be taken and refunded. We receive back only a confirmation of success or failure.
- Our email provider — your email address and the content of transactional emails.
- Our hosting and database providers — who store the data on our behalf.
- Professional advisers and authorities — where we are legally required to disclose information, or need to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.
5. We do not sell or share your data
We have not sold personal information in the preceding twelve months, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not intend to start. Because we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, there is no “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” opt-out to exercise. If that ever changes we will update this policy before the change takes effect and provide the required opt-out mechanism.
6. How long we keep it
- Order records — kept for as long as required by US tax and accounting rules, then deleted.
- Enquiries and advice requests — no longer than 24 months from the date of your last contact with us.
- Restock reminder list — until you unsubscribe, at which point your address is removed.
- Consent records — kept for the same period as the order they relate to.
7. California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, the CCPA as amended by the CPRA gives you the following rights:
- Right to know — what categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, where we got it, why we collected it, and who we disclosed it to.
- Right to delete — request deletion of personal information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions such as completing a transaction or meeting a tax obligation.
- Right to correct — have inaccurate personal information corrected.
- Right to opt out of sale or sharing — we do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of. See section 5.
- Right to limit use of sensitive personal information — we do not collect sensitive personal information.
- Right to non-discrimination — we will never charge you a different price, provide a different level of service, or refuse to sell to you because you exercised a privacy right.
How to make a request. Email support@cordovatransport.shop with the subject “Privacy request”, or use our contact form and select “Privacy request (CCPA/CPRA)”. You can also call +1 417 237 9433. We will verify your identity by matching the details you give against what we hold — usually the email address and order reference used for a purchase. We respond within 45 days and will tell you if we need a 45-day extension. An authorised agent may submit a request on your behalf with written permission.
8. Other US state privacy rights
Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have comparable rights of access, correction, deletion and portability, together with the right to opt out of targeted advertising, sale and certain profiling. We do not carry out targeted advertising, we do not sell personal information, and we do not profile. To exercise any of these rights, use the same contact route in section 7. Where a state provides a right to appeal a refused request, you may appeal by replying to our decision, and we will respond within the period that state requires.
9. Children — COPPA
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13, in line with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act. Orders may only be placed by a person aged 18 or over, and you are asked to confirm this at checkout.
Customers aged 13 to 17 must have the consent of a parent or guardian before contacting us or using this site, and any purchase must be made by an adult. Cleaning chemicals sold on this site must be handled by an adult in all circumstances.
If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, email support@cordovatransport.shop and we will delete it promptly.
10. Security
The site is served over HTTPS, so information you submit is encrypted in transit. Access to order and enquiry data is restricted to the people who need it to do their job, and administrative access requires authentication. Payment card data never touches our systems.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your personal information we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by applicable state breach notification law.
11. International customers
We ship worldwide and our systems are operated from the United States. If you order from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have different data protection rules from your own country. By placing an order you consent to that transfer. We apply the protections described in this policy to every customer regardless of where they live.
12. Cookies
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies. What they are and how to control them is set out in our cookie policy.
13. Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change, and the “last updated” date at the top will change with it. Material changes that affect how we use information you have already given us will be notified by email where we hold your address.
14. How to reach us
