About this product
Run the back of your hand over a freshly washed bonnet inside a plastic bag. If it feels like fine sandpaper, that is bonded contamination — rail dust, overspray, industrial fallout — sitting proud of the clear coat. Clay shears it off. It is also the single easiest way to mar paint if you rush it, which is why this kit ships with 16 oz of dedicated lubricant and a fold-and-inspect card. Keep the surface flooded, work in straight lines, fold the bar to a clean face every panel, and bin it the moment it hits the ground.

Step by step.

Wash and rinse the vehicle completely. Clay never goes on a dirty car.
- 02
Flatten a piece of clay into a palm-sized patty.
- 03
Spray the panel generously with lubricant until it is visibly wet.
- 04
Glide the clay in straight lines with no downward pressure until the drag stops.
- 05
Fold to a clean face, move to the next section, wipe residue with a plush towel.
- 06
Follow immediately with wax or sealant — clayed paint is unprotected.
